Limited Editionprints are created in "editions" with a specific number of prints. Once the edition limit has been reached, it will never again be available for purchase from Jonathan. Limited Edition prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a Certificate of Authenticity. Limited edition prints are exceptional in quality. Our Limited Editions are printed on museum-grade archival papers and are meticulously printed with the highest-quality inks to show the incredible detail in the original work.
Open Edition Prints may be endlessly reproduced. Because there's no limit to the number of reproductions that can be made, an open edition print is priced substantially lower than a Limited Edition Print. We also choose to limit our prints to small sizes and unframed only. This also makes them more affordable.
Jonathan selects the number of prints offered of each image to protect your artwork’s identity and value. All limited edition artworks are signed, numbered, by Jonathan and include a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). Each print will also include four Artist Proofs (AP) to manage quality of the prints sold.
Only a limited number of prints will be made available for purchase. Most of Jonathan’s editions number between 5 and 30. For example, in a limited run of 30 prints, once those 30 prints are sold to collectors, that print will no longer be available directly from Jonathan. Digital images may still be used in digital or printed magazines, books, and other publications and press for marketing and other promotional purposes.
As the prints sell for each artwork, fewer pieces are available, so the price increases to correspond to the lower availability of the work. The current prices are listed on the website and will reflect the scarcity of prints available.
When a limited edition artwork is purchased, the next available edition number is automatically selected and assigned to that purchase. The editions start at #1 until the end of the edition. If you are interested in what number in the edition is next available for a specific print, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or look below the artwork description near the Add to Cart button to see how many are left.
All limited edition prints are printed in-house under the watchful eye of Jonathan. They are also signed, numbered, and include a Certificate of Authenticity. The Certificate of Authenticity ensures that your print is an original. The Certificate should be stored somewhere safe, preferably separate from the artwork.

Yes, we are happy to accommodate sizes other than what appears on our website. Jonathan uses a modern high-resolution digital camera. He can create sizes up to 110” for every series. Please keep in mind that prints that size will be lower resolution and should be viewed from far away. With a print above 48”x72," plexiglass face-mounted framing is the only type of framing available. Above 48”x96” we would break the piece into a diptych or triptych which could be framed in plexiglass or wood frames.
No. We won't crop or alter images. This maintains consistency and integrity of the edition and to retain the original artwork’s intent. Curious as to how a print will look in your space? Contact us at email@example.com for a custom mock-up.
Tell your framer to dry-mount the work on acid-free board using archival tissue and materials. This will ensure the print will stay flat once framed. Note that it is common for prints to have waves when unrolling for the first time. Loose print orders are carefully rolled and packaged in a tube for shipping. Extreme care must be taken when handling the loose prints to avoid water damage, fingerprints, or creasing prior to framing. We recommend taking prints directly to your local framer before unpackaging. They are easily damaged and should handled with care by a professional framer. Our unframed prints are have a 3” paper border. You get your choice of frame and matte ready to send to your professional framer.
Unfortunately we do not offer financing at this time. This may change in the very near future.
