Behind the Human/Nature Series
Human/Nature, is a personal exploration of the complex relationship between humanity and the natural world. Through minimalist, black-and-white long-exposure photography, I aim to capture the emotional depth of landscapes, reflecting both their beauty and fragility in the face of human presence.
I often impose a strict set of rules on myself for each project, For this one I only allowed only scenes with a horizon, used long-exposure techniques, and juxtaposed industrial or human elements against the water.
Human/Nature is about the subtle yet profound impact humans have on the environment. My long-exposure techniques allow me to create images that feel alive—dynamic yet serene. The minimalist composition draws attention to the vast, untouched landscapes while also highlighting the marks humanity leaves behind, even in the most remote places.
This project is a visual meditation on how we interact with the natural world. By capturing these vast landscapes, I want viewers to reflect on their own relationship with the environment. The images encourage us to think about our role in the world and the impact we have on the landscapes we often take for granted.
For collectors and art lovers, Human/Nature offers a unique perspective on contemporary landscape photography. These limited edition prints are perfect for anyone who wants to add thought-provoking, high-quality art to their collection, while also celebrating the beauty of the natural world.
Human/Nature is my invitation to reconnect with nature and consider how we shape its future. If you're passionate about art, nature, or environmental issues, I invite you to explore this project and join me in this visual conversation.
