PRINTING
The pigment ink print is produced on Epson glossy paper. A varnish/laminate is adhered directly to the face of the print for durability and UV protection. This is then mounted onto a thin 3mm sheet of aluminum called dibond. The Dibond lamination provides a sleek, flat, and reflection-free presentation. This process results in a high-quality, durable print with a long lifespan, suitable for large formats and any lighting condition.
FRAMING
Custom-milled frames are custom-designed and fabricated in Iowa by an artist/woodworker craftsman. These were designed specifically for Jonathan’s work. A decorative outer wooden frame is custom-milled and made to "float" with a 1/4” gap between the edge of the print and the frame. A French Cleat system is used to hang the print on the wall so that the frame sits flush against the wall.
